Who We Are:

Amicitia Reciproca was founded with a vision to break down barriers for people with disabilities. Inspired by personal experience, we aim to create equitable support for optimal health, independence, and quality of life. The name Amicitia Reciproca translates to “Reciprocal Friendship” in Latin. It reflects our belief that meaningful connections between volunteers and individuals with disabilities are mutually enriching, fostering growth, independence, and understanding for everyone involved. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, our mission is to match volunteers with individuals who need assistance to overcome unmet needs and build a more inclusive community.
